Attending Shows

We follow all current State of New York and local guidelines for live events. At this time, no proof of vaccination or negative test is required to attend shows unless specifically noted for an individual event. Should state or local mandates change, we will update our policies accordingly and notify ticket holders when necessary.

Your safety and comfort are always our priority, and we continually review our procedures to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests.

Will I enjoy a safe experience?

Absolutely. The Showplace Theater provides:

• A professional, licensed security staff inside and outside the venue

• Clear crowd-flow management and ongoing safety protocols

Do you sell alcohol at events?

Yes. Most events feature a full-service bar with beer, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic options. Guests must present a valid ID to purchase alcohol.

What can I bring with me into the theater?

For the safety and comfort of all guests, we ask that you bring only essentials.
Prohibited items include:

• Firearms or weapons of any kind

• Outside food or beverages

• Large bags, backpacks, and other items at security’s discretion

If a prohibited item is brought to the venue, you will be asked to return it to your vehicle before entry.

Is there a dress code?

Dress should be appropriate for the event you are attending. Some events may have specific dress requirements, which will be noted on the event page. Venue staff reserves the right to enforce dress guidelines to maintain a safe and respectful atmosphere.

Is the venue handicap accessible?

Is there a coat room?

Yes. Coat check is available at most events for a small fee. Availability may vary depending on the show.

Is there an age restriction?

Unless otherwise noted on the event listing:
All shows are 21+ with valid ID required for entry.
Some events may be 18+ or all ages; details will be listed on the specific event page.

Is smoking permitted?

Smoking and vaping are not allowed inside the theater. However, we provide a designated outdoor smoking area within a secure space where guests may exit and re-enter without issue.
